Name: Ann Jenkins neé Durdy Message I attended Abbey Road School until the age of 6. So that would be about 1951-52. I only have one memory and that is standing in the ashphalt playground when, to my great alarm, a boy fell over and started screaming very loudly. Someone told me later that he had broken his arm. Perhaps he will contact you one day. I have a photo of me as a small child being pushed through Warley Woods in a very antiquated pram by my mother. On the back it says "A favourite walk through Warley Woods for Smethwick families. 1947" At the age of 6 we moved house from Park Road on Smethwick to live in Handsworth. Kind regards Anne
